CJ has travelled, climbed, paddled, bicycled, and backpacked through much of the Americas, North and South, with dabblings in Europe and the Himalaya. Her favorite travel destinations are Patagonia (Chile and Argentina), Asturias (Spain), Sequoia National Park (California), and the west coast of Scotland. She prefers human-powered travel whenever possible, by boat, on foot, or bicycle.
She writes most regularly from her base camp in Asheville, North Carolina.
